The First Global Climate and Health Summit took place on December 4, 2011 at the Tropicana Hotel in Durban, South Africa parallel to the UNFCCC meetings. This inaugural summit was organized by Health Care Without Harm, the World Federation of Public Health Associations, the Climate and Health Council, the Nelson R.
