About This Session

In response to the interconnectivity between HIV/AIDs and other health and non-health related issues for the millions who live with this disease, experts continue to innovate integrated approaches that translate into a higher quality of comprehensive HIV/AIDS care and services. The purpose of this session is to highlight the link between HIV/AIDS and areas including community engagement, family planning, hygiene, nutrition and non-communicable diseases. Within each, experts will address customized, local solutions that are showing promising results in severely impacted regions around the world. To ensure maximal value for participants, only those solutions that could be scaled up and adapted to other countries and/or communities were chosen for presentation.

The session will end with a moderated panel discussion and Q&A with the experts. Following the formal program, all are invited to enjoy a reception with light hors d’oeuvres and beverages.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Learn about effective integrated approaches to HIV/AIDS care and localized solutions that could be implemented in his/her region;
  • Better understand how to jumpstart the process to developing first-time local solutions that enhance HIV/AIDs care
